Jennifer O'Neill, LMT

Licensed Massage Therapist

Jikiden Reiki Practitioner

I received my massage training and certification in 2007 from The Health Options Institute, a Pennsylvania State Licensed Massage School, located in Bethlehem Township. I graduated at the top of my class and have been practicing massage independently since 2007.

I received specialty training in Cancer Massage as well as Mastectomy Massage from both Health Options Institute and New Jersey Massage School. I took part in intensive course work and studied under a pioneer in the field of Cancer Massage, Cheryl Chapman RN, HNC, NCTMB.

I received Reiki training in the Jikiden form, which is the original, non-westernized, traditional form of Reiki. It is an eastern approach to addressing build-ups of toxins. I am certified from Kyoto, Japan, where I am a practitioner/member in good standing.

My clients seek treatment for conditions including but not limited to: stress, depression, insomnia, headaches, arthritis, muscle stiffness and tension, fibromyalgia and autoimmune conditions. Many clients also seek massage treatments for pure relaxation and a sense of well being. Because of my specialty training, I see clients who are in any stage of their cancer diagnosis, treatment or recovery. I perform Mastectomy Massage for women who are about to undergo surgery or completed surgery for breast cancer.

My practice philosophy is that of full mind-body integration. I believe that health and well-being is an intricate balance between the mind and body and that massage therapy promotes and enables such a balance. Stress, anxiety, and tension create a susceptibility to illness and injury. Massage therapy addresses all of these conditions and helps the body achieve a state of balance and health.

I offer over 13 years of experience and continuing education in the field. Some of my additional coursework has included: Kinesiology, Reflexology, Hospice Massage, Craniosacral Level I, Zero Balancing, Lymphatic Drainage, and The Mind-Body Connection. I take all the principal elements from my education and combine my expanding knowledge to provide the most integrated session and treatment possible.

I practice massage therapy because I believe it is a deeply honored gift to be able to help people achieve emotional and physical well-being. The healing power of touch combined with anatomical knowledge and training enables me to assist clients on a journey to mind-body balance. It is a privilege to be able to do so.
