Award-Winning Massage Therapy & Traditional Reiki

* CBD /Hemp Massage

 Jennifer O'Neill Massage & Bodywork offers CBD/Hemp Infused Massage, a massage therapy session that utilizes a natural herbal massage cream that has been infused with high potency CBD isolate. CBD is an all-natural, non-psychoactive, completely legal, active component from the hemp plant.

The result is a powerful topical cream that aids in pain reduction, reduces inflammation, and promotes relaxation. The components in the CBD cream act to soothe and relax the muscles and tendons, allowing the therapist to work on a more holistic and deeper level.

CBD and massage therapy work in complete synergy, as they truly complement each other, thus elevating the level of wellness that can be experienced. Clients report an increase of awareness, deep relaxation, and a "softening" of muscle and tissue that otherwise isn't achieved at such a level. Also, for some clients, the positive effects of the massage session last longer.

While there are many products now available on the market, I choose to make my own cream to ensure potency, therapeutic effect, and quality of product. I use an organic massage cream base and personally infuse it with all-natural, lab tested, CBD isolate. On average, a 60-minute session usually provides 200-250mg of CBD in the amount of cream used.

The following is an excerpt taken from Massage Magazine:

"CBD is a well-known pain reliever and anti-inflammatory agent. By reducing pain and inflammation with CBD-infused massage topicals, the therapist is able to work more deeply and effectively. In an interview with Massage Magazine, osteopath Dustin Sulak of Maine further stressed the benefits of the anti-anxiety properties of CBD and how it may additionally serve to reduce pain. He also cites studies that show CBD as being responsible for quickening the recovery time of injured connective tissues.

All of these properties together create a uniquely suited companion for massage. By reducing pain, inflammation, and anxiety, the body is coaxed into deeper states of relaxation where the muscles are looser, and thus experienced massage therapists are able to more deeply soothe away problem areas."
